John has been a great servant to the club over the years both on and off the field. He can be
seen with either a hurl or a green flag in his hand when the need arises. John represented
our hurlers for many years and kept the show on the road during the lean times. He also
acted as club umpire in Tír Chonaill Park, a job which doesn’t attract too many volunteers.
John’s nephew Ross is captain of our senior development team, and it is great to see the
family represented by great role models on and off the pitch. With Michelle and Oisín giving
their support in the background, we wish John well in the cycle challenge.
