Peter joined the club in 2003 when he moved from the faithful county of Offaly and married Aoife. Offaly’s loss was certainly our gain and Peter has been very active across the codes of hurling and football in the club over the last twenty years. Currently the joint manager of the ladies’ football team with Greg McGroary, Peter represented both club and county in hurling and played football also before moving into coaching. Peter and Aoife’s children are very active in the club and although training for the cycle will do little for his golf handicap, it will be a big boost for the clubhouse development!
